Diljit Dosanjh Personally Defends ‘Udta Punjab’

Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh is making his Bollywood debut with ‘Udta Punjab’. He said that he wanted to be a part of the flick as there is nothing malicious about it and the movie is made with good intentions. It is known that ‘Udta Punjab’ is facing censorship issues.

Diljit, in an interview with PTI, said, "When I was narrated the script, I found their intention right. I never felt that they were trying to show something wrong. Now that the High Court has given the judgement so I don't even need to make a comment on it. I just feel the film's intention is good and a nice story”.

He further added, "The movie has got an 'A' certificate. So, obviously only people above that age limit can watch and I think adults can decide what they want to watch. There is no age limit online”. ‘Udta Punjab’ is set to release on June 17.
