Dolly Ki Doli: Sonam Kapoor’s character an inspiration from real life?

Modish actress Sonam Kapoor will soon start shooting for her next, Dolly Ki Doli. The actress will be seen as a con girl in the movie. This is something that Sonam has not done before in her career. It is being said that her character in the film is inspired from the life of a girl who used to reside in North India.

A source said, “Apparently, there was this girl in Uttar Pradesh who had conned men into marrying her and then ran away with their money. Her sweet looks and innocent behavior made many a youngster believe in her and fall into her trap. She used to get into marital-hood and then run away with all the money and other valuables on first night itself. This continued for many months and no one could gather even a hint of where she came from and then disappeared.”

This sounds interesting, but director Abhishek Dogra is trying to portray the story with more suspense and dram plus comedy than just being a biopic. Other than this, Sonam is presently busy in promoting her next, Bewakoofiyaan which is slated to hit the screens on March 14. She will be romancing Ayushmann Khurrana in the movie. The actress is doing quite a few different things these days; a bikini bombshell in Bewakoofiyaan and now a con girl in Dolly Ki Doli, all the best girl.
