Esha-Bharat special guests at 10 Janpath

To compensate for her absence at the recent wedding of Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has invited the newlywed couple to dinner at 10 Janpath. According to reports, BJP MP Hema Malini had invited Sonia Gandhi to her daughters wedding but the politician could not attend the invite due to security reasons. "We had invited her (Sonia Gandhi) for the wedding but she could not make it due to security reasons. So now she has told us that whenever they (Esha and Bharat) come to Delhi they are invited for dinner," Malini said. In the meantime, the four-day function, which started with Sangeet ceremony on June 25, had ended day before yesterday with a grand reception at Hotel Lalit in suburban Andheri attended by big celebs and politicians like Dilip Kumar and his wife Saira Banu, Jeetendra, Rekha, Zeenat Aman, Salman Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Sanjay Khan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and her husband Dr Sriram Nene, Sushmita Sen, Tabu, Kajol and Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. The couple got married on June 29 in South Indian style at Iskcon temple.
