Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Fukrey is a joyride set in Delhi

The forthcoming movie this week Fukrey has already acquired attention of many and the reason for film’s popularity are its songs. An extremely romantic trackby Sona Mohapatra,Ambarsariya has topped the charts right from its release. It’s another released Jugaadhaving a little bit ofqawaalitouch, is also getting likes from the people. Fukrey is a directorial project of Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and is produced by Farhar Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.

Ram Sampath, who has contributed in this venture says, "The idea was to make a young, irreverent, funky soundtrack that represents the youth of India who don't have money or connections. It was also important for me to be true to the landscape of the film, and create songs and a background score that help tell a parallel story in sync with the writer-director's vision and not mere promotional tracks that have no real connection to the characters or setting." The movie is about four friends and their college-life adventures. The film features Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal, Priya Anand, Richa Chadda, Vishakha Singh and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead.

Singer Sona who is also the executive producer of the album also commented about the film, "Fukrey is a joyride set in Delhi, specifically in a Punjabi neighbourhood. I visualised the song from the principal male characters' perspective. Ram's instinct was that the film would benefit from a simple love song." Though all the sound tracks are released, one sound trackLag Gayi Lottery is yet to be out and as per the news it will be public with the film’s release. Meanwhile, a Fukra party was thrown for all thesecond class gainers in CBSE this year.The film made underExcel Entertainment banner is to hit the theatres on June 14.
