“The film is even better than the trailer” – Kangana on Tanu Weds Manu Returns

The recently released trailer of Kangana Ranaut and Madhavan starrer Tanu Weds Manu Returns has largely impressed the viewers all over. The trailer having crossed over 3 million views on social media has become one much talked about prospect. While the trailer garners so much praise, lead actress Kangana Ranaut assured that the film is even better.

At the launch of a jewellery brand, a cherished Kangana looked happy at the response the trailer has received. “The second part is equally nice. I hope you all will enjoy it. I am happy that people have liked the trailer. I can assure you that the film is even better. The film should do well. It’s important for films to do good business as it benefits the whole movie industry,” she said. The film is a sequel to the 2011 hit Tanu Weds Manu and is again directed by Anand L. Rai.

After having won the best actress National Award for Queen, Kangana said that she was looking forward to attend the ceremony. “I am looking forward to attending the National Awards. I don’t like attending commercial award shows. But National Awards are different,” she said. Tanu Weds Manu Returns is set to release on May 22 and will have Kangana play a double role.
