Freddy Daruwala To Play Lawyer In Mia - Ek Umeed

Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty actor Freddy Daruwala has bagged the role of a lawyer in the upcoming film ‘Mia - Ek Umeed’. The drug drama film will be produced by Welcome Friends Production. Debutant director Rajat Mukherjee will be at the helm of affairs for the film.

Freddy will be playing the role of a ‘no nonsense lawyer’ in the film. Talking about his preparation for the role, Freddy shared, “I have watched several movies featuring actors who have played lawyers brilliantly. Since I play a serious lawyer, there are many imposition involved. It’s a challenging role which is integral to the narrative”.

He also revealed that he attended court proceedings and spoke to lawyers outside the courtroom. Besides, ‘Mia - Ek Umeed’, the actor has another project in the pipeline, ‘Commando 2’. He will be playing the lead antagonist in the film which will have Vidyut Jamwal as the protagonist.
