Friday’ Double Bonanza: John Day and Grand Masti hit screens today

Bingo! two different flicks of two completely different genres are releasing today. First one is Randeep Hooda starrer John Day, an action-thriller. The film presents Hooda in a dark role and the actor has already made a statement that he has done those things in this movie that he would not be able to do in his real life.

John Day is directed by Ahishor Solomon. The flick features Randeep Hooda, Naseeruddin Shah, Vipin Sharma, Shernaz Patel, Sharat Saxena and Elena Kazan in the lead roles. The second flick hitting the screens today is Grand Masti, a sequel of Masti (2004). The film is an out and out comedy flick, presenting Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani in the lead roles.

Grand Masti is directed by Indra Kumar and he has tried to spice up the glamour quotient in the flick by having Bruna Abdullah, Maryam Zakaria, Kainaat Arora, Karishma Tanna, Sonali Kulkarni and Manjari Fadnis to play the female leads in the film. It is expected that both the flicks will have a great fight at the box office. It will be interesting to see that which movie entertains the viewers more.
