Gangs of Wasseypur casting director receives threat calls

Noted Bollywood casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who has many big films in his kitty including Aamir Khan-starrerP.K.and Saif Ali Khan’sBullet Raja, has reportedly been threatened by aspiring actors. According to sources,Gangs of Wasseypurfame Mukesh is planning to file a police complaint in this regard. Chhabra said that he has been receiving threatening calls and text messages, presumably from amateur actors who have warned him of dire consequences if he doesn’t cast them in a film soon. He informed that a few days back, his car was also vandalised and not only this, earlier a group of boys had turned up drunk at his door around the release ofGangs of Wasseypur,the film whosecasting was also done by Mukesh. Thus Chhabra has decided to go to the police. “I will approach the police if these things continue,” he said, adding, “Now, I’m being told that someone is using my name to dupe other actors for a role. I don’t know how to control such things”.
