Govinda turns down Salman Khan’s God Only Knows

Actor, producer and philanthropist Salman Khan has plans to remake Marathi flick Shikshanacha Aaicha Gho and he has Govinda on his wish list but it seems like the Bollywood’s dabangg has to look for an alternative. Well, Govinda has refused to work in his next tentatively entitled God Only Knows and the same is confirmed by Salman himself, "I approached Govinda but he refused it, seriously. For the last three years I have been after Govinda to do the film but he said that he didn`t like the film.”

Shikshanacha Aaicha Gho is about a father who wants his son to be the best student. Father pressurises his son and the result turns out to be worse. The original film features Sachin Khedekar, Bharat Jadhav, Saksham Kulkarni, Gauri Vaidya and few more in pivotal roles. It was also heard that Paresh Rawal will be the lead face of the movie but Salman cleared the air saying, "We haven`t finalised the cast yet, we may title it `God Only Knows` and it will go on the floors by February."
