Happy 28th birthday Sonakshi Sinha!

Sonakshi Sinha has turned 28 today. Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter who made her Bollywood debut with Dabangg, opposite Salman Khan, was loved for the typical village girl character she played; and since then, the actress has inspired many. Her dialogue from the film “Thappad se darr nahi lagta sahab, Pyaar se lagta hai” is still a buzz.

Sonakshi was criticized for her weight but the actress always stood out bold. “I am not here to be size zero, but hero”, she said. In another statement, the Tevar actress said, “I think I have broken the mould that actresses have to be extremely thin on screen. All those who are making my weight an issue just prove that people are jealous. These are people who have nothing to do in life except to stare at their computer screens and make comments on us”.

With numerous commercially successful films in her bucket, the Action Jackson actress has worked with actors that include Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. The Rowdy Rathore actress was applauded for her performance in Lootera. She has also acted in Tamil movies, such as Lingaa, opposite Rajinikanth. Next, the actress will be seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming project Akira.
