Sonakshi Sinha And Aditya Roy Kapur To Team Up For The Sequel Of A Popular 2016 Film!

Director Mudassar Aziz’s last film ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’ was well acknowledged by people. The comic antics performed by Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Jimmy Shergill, Ali Fazal and Momal Sheikh made people rolling in the aisles. And now the director is planning to come up with its sequel.

As per reports in DNA, actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha have been roped in as the main leads. It was also reported that Ayushmann Khurrana was initially approached as the main lead for the film. However, he could not give his dates as he is busy shooting for Sriram Raghavan’s next directorial.

Earlier, there were reports that Mudassar Aziz started working on the sequel before completing the first part. However, he stopped in between and decided to finish the script of ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ first. And now we have heard that the script is complete and the team will start shooting soon.

This will be the first time that Aditya and Sonakshi will be working together. Aditya was last seen in OK Jaanu opposite Shraddha Kapoor which was a dud at the box office, while Sonakshi was seen as a journalist in Noor which too failed to impress the audience.
