‘He is not made for marriage’: Kalki Koechlin

Kalki Koechlin has said that Anurag Kashyap is not made for marriage. Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin’s marriage has now officially ended, after their divorce came through on Monday. "I wasn't sure where my relationship with Anurag was going. All of it was unclear. Now, we are pretty sure that we are not going to be together", Kalki was quoted saying in an interview. "He isn't made for marriage”, she added.

The couple filed for divorce in October last year. "The fights were too frequent. They loved each other but they couldn't live with each other. Anurag gets emotionally disturbed by things and people around him and Kalki couldn't cope with his routine frustration", a friend of the duo told Mumbai Mirror. “The divorce is painful to both but they've made a pact to be there for each other. In a way, it's the sweetest divorce you'll ever know", a friend of the couple told Mumbai Mirror.

Their romance began in 2008, on the sets of Dev D. After living together for 2 years the couple got married on April 30, 2011. "Marriage would be a natural culmination of our relationship. And I am looking forward to being a bride. Which girl doesn't?", Kalki had said back then.
