Her Review Matters A Lot To Me: Vikarm Phadnis On Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Designer Vikram Phadnis has turned a director with Marathi film ‘Hrudayantar’, which hit the theatres on July 7, 2017. The movie has become an official selection for Indian Film Festival in Melbourne, which would be held from August 10 to August 22. More than the film’s selection at the festival, he is happy that his close friend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be able to watch the flick.

Aishwarya has been invited as the special guest at the IFFM this year. “Aiswarya hasn’t seen the film yet and I’m hoping she will watch my film. I hope she has the time to see it,” Vikram says.

The designer also invited the actress during the launch of the film’s music. He says that her feedback is very important to him. He added, “Her review matters a lot to me. We’ve grown up together and she knows cinema inside out. Her opinion does matter to me a lot. I just hope she likes this film.”

Vikram is working on his next film and plans to cast Aishwarya in it. When asked him about the same, he admitted it and said that he is reworking on the script as he wrote it for the actress a few years ago. However, he refused to divulge details about the project.
