Here’s Why Saif Ali Khan Has Turned A Recluse

While Kareena Kapoor Khan may be a party animal often seen hanging out with her sister Karisma Kapoor and BFF Amrita Arora, it seems like husband Saif Ali Khan wants to lead a solitary life. After celebrating his 47th birthday on August 16, Saif now wants to focus just on work and not get in any party mood. Well, let us tell you that unlike other stars who celebrate their birthday in a grand affair, the Nawab of Pataudi chose to celebrate his birthday with his family.

“Saif has realised that friends in Bollywood are only fair-weather ones and their friendship actually does not mean anything except to party during happy times and not entertain you when the going is tough. Saif’s films have not been doing well at all lately. He has understood that his so-called friends from Bollywood only want to work and hobnob with the successful. So, he has decided to stay away from the limelight,” revealed a source close to Saif.

Lately, most of Saif’s films from Bullett Raja to Humshakals, Happy Ending, Phantom and Rangoon have failed to rake in moolah at the box-office. This is the reason that many of his big filmmaker friends are not approaching him for their films. “Saif is of royal blood. He is now the nawab of Pataudi. He has to have his lifestyle and life the way he wants it. He does not need the publicity nor the money from films to run his life. So, he has decided to stay aloof from the Bollywood soirees,” added the source.
