Highway trailer looks impressive with Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt as main characters

The official theatrical trailer of Imtiaz Ali’s Highway has been released and the film looks like having a lot of potential. Lead actors Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda are present through the entire trailer representing their respective characters from different backgrounds.

Both Randeep and Alia embark on a road trip in a truck travelling through six states. The trailer begins with young and bright Alia getting kidnapped by Randeep and his gang to get ‘transported’ to another place. As evident from the trailer the film seems to have main focus on Alia just like Kareena Kapoor Khan in Jab We Met.

While launching the trailer last evening Alia said, "I was a bit confused when Imtiaz came with the offer. At the same time I was overwhelmed that he came up with a challenging film and role.” She added, "I am nervous and will remain so till the film releases. It keeps me on my toes. Working on the film was an amazing experience and I enjoyed this journey a lot." "I learnt a lot while working with Randeep. He spoke about motivation and following your thoughts,” the 20-year-old lady said further. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Sajid Nadiadwala, Highway is ready to release on February 21.
