Humshakals expected to have a ‘Decent’ opening

Needed comedy, family entertainer, lots of brands, heavy star cast, quite popular music and vacations. With so much going in director Sajid Khan’s favour, Humshakals is expected to open with a good occupancy. The film that releases this Friday has his cast and crew promoting their product on every platform.

Sajid Khan who as a director has a fairly good Box Office record, feels his film will do well. His last film ‘Himmatwala’ with Ajay Devgn bombed drastically at the ticket counter last year, however his previous films Heyy Babyy, Housefull and Housefull 2 all have did well. He shifts back to what he does best, ‘Comedy’. The film features Saif, Ritesh and Ram Kapoor in triple roles and is topped with ample glamour with Tamannaah, Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta playing the female lead. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya. With Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty already spending two weeks at the box office, Humshakals is the only ‘Big’ release after that. Fugly that released last week was unable to impress the audience and doesn’t really emerge as a competition. Humshakals however has to be good on content as a lot of critics are waiting to write the movie off considering it’s a slapstick comedy with jokes unlikely to impress them. Fate of these of movies always rely on the audiences who as masses can make a film Hit or Flop.

It’s time for the curtain to raise over Humshakals as we will know how good the movie performs or will it be able to beat the successful run Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty is enjoying at the box office.
