Hundreds of fans queued up outside Big B’s house to wish him on his 70th birthday

While film personalities from every generation thronged the 70^thbirthday bash of legendary star Amitabh Bachchan, hundreds of fans from different walks of life gathered outside the megastar’s house with garlands to wish him on his birthday yesterday. According to reports, people from as far as Haryana and Punjab queued up at the entrance of the iconic actor’s bungalow Jalsa at suburban Vile Parle since morning to catch a glimpse of their favourite actor.

While some of them were wearing T-shirts bearing pictures of him, some were chanting and singing names of all his films in a parody: "Saat Hindustaniun mein se ekSharabi, jiska naam thaAnandjo gayaBombay to Goaaur ban gayaDon". People were also seen performinghawansand distributing sweets on the big occasion. The veteran actor waved to the fans yesterday from his car while he was going to the Seven Hills hospital in Andheri where he received a mobile diabetes testing unit named after him as his birthday present from the British Deputy High Commissioner.
