I Want To Challenge Myself: Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt started her acting career with Karan Johar’s romantic drama Student of the Year, five years ago. The actress has since then proved her mettle in the Bollywood industry with her power-packed performances in films like Highway, 2 States, Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi. In her five year long career, the actress has delivered a single flop.

In a recent interview, she talked about how success and fame has not changed her as a person. She said, “I am the same person – from the time I was born and till now when I am working. I am still the same. I don’t think I have done something. I feel I am working and the achievements are the byproduct (of it)”.

She further added that she challenges herself and her biggest completion is herself and not any third person. She continued, “I put pressure on myself from my point of view. I want to challenge myself. I want to do serious stuff and I want to do comedy as well”.

After Badrinath Ki Dulhania, the actress will next share the screen space in Dragon opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Dragon will be helmed by Ayan Mukherjee.
