Ignore film promotions if they bother you, says Imran Khan

Mumbai -- Actor Imran Khan has said that people should ignore film promotions if they bother them. If something bothers you, like I say that some ads bother me, I put the television off. So, if people think that promotions are getting out of hand, they don't have to pay attention, they don't have to watch the film," Imran said. "It's ultimately someone's freedom and it's their way of promoting the film. They are taking nothing away from you," he added. The actor was speaking at the MTV power 1 Youth forum event. Imran further said that it is his duty and responsibility as an actor to participate in the film's promotions. "I think it is ultimately the personal choice. There is a producer, who is investing crores of rupees in a product. As an actor, it is my responsibility to make sure that this guy gets his money's worth," he said.
