Imran was the first preference for ‘2 States’

With good collections over three weeks, Bollywood film 2 States is all set to be the biggest opener of 2014. The movie brought big smiles on the faces of audience as well as producers but it must have been really painful for Imran Khan, who rejected to play the role of the Punjabi boy named Krish in the movie opposite Alia Bhatt (Ananya), which was initially offered to Imran.

Imran turned down the role in 2 states for Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola due to clash of dates which later landed in Arjun Kapoor's kitty. For Imran, it must have been difficult to choose between Vishal Bhardwaj and Dharma Production, but we hope he learns from his mistakes. The Delhi Belly fame actor is currently not involved in any project.
