Intolerance Row: Shah Rukh Khan Extends Support To Aamir Khan

Shah Rukh Khan has recently extended support to his friend Aamir Khan in the ongoing controversy surrounding him. Previously, SRK has also been targeted for his remarks on intolerance row and now Aamir Khan is the new target. King Khan said that one does not need to prove his patriotism.

Shah Rukh has been quoted as saying, “You don't have to be proving your patriotism in any other way, except for thinking good for the country and doing good. You have to work for the benefit of the country. If I work for the country in the most kindest way in what I am good at, my country is going to benefit from that. But if I am corrupt, and regional about it, I will be harming my country”.

The Chennai Express star further said that general statements turn into radical ones for people on social media. “Twitter and social media is about free voice, people do take very radical steps. They get abusive”, he said.
