Here's How Irrfan Khan Called Trouble For His Pakistani Co-Star!

Irrfan Khan is currently looking forward to the release of his forthcoming entertainer ‘Hindi Medium’. Interestingly, the 49-year-old star will be seen romancing a Pakistani actress in this upcoming flick. Touted to be a romantic comedy, ‘Hindi Medium’ is jointly produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar and stars Saba Qamar as the lead lady. The film will release on March 30, 2017.

Recently, in an interview, Irrfan Khan’s words turned out to be debatable for his co-star Saba. Khan was asked if Saba, being a Pakistani artist, will promote their impending flick in India. On this the ‘Life of Pi’ actor said, “I think maybe Saba Qamar has married someone here in India. She is an Indian now. I heard it somewhere.”

Irrfan delivered this statement in a comical mood, but it has injured the sentiments of Pakistani people. It is reported that Qamar is being scared with death threats for allegedly marrying an Indian. Seemingly, Irrfan’s joke has landed Saba in the witness box, where she is being held suspicious of marrying an Indian.
