Irrfan Khan To Work Again With Deepika Padukone In Vishal Bhardwaj’s Next

Irrfan Khan is celebrating the success of his recently released Hindi Medium which talks about English being a status symbol. The movie directed by Saket Chaudhary stars Pakistani actress Saba Qamar opposite Irrfan. However, now we have heard that the actor will be collaborating with Vishal Bhardwaj for the third time, after Maqbool and 7 Khoon Maaf, for his next.

According to reports, the Haidar director has also roped in Deepika Padukone. The yet-to-be-titled film is based on one of the chapters from Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. When asked from the actor about how excited he is to work with Vishal again, he said, "Very very excited. Our relationship has grown and we have known each other for long. It has sustained on an understanding which is about telling a story. We have a great time discussing stories. We love each other. I love his drive and hunger to tell stories and he loves my work. So it is a kind of mutual excitement. I am really looking forward to that experience. Haider was just a cameo but it flourished because of his vision. I loved that."

Both Irrfan and Deepika worked together previously in Piku. About Deepika, Khan said that he had an excellent time working with Deepika in Piku and is always looking for opportunities to work with her. “Haven't had a better experience with a co-star than with Deepika. It was the happiest time I have had," he said.
