It’s Intimidating To Do Action Alongside Akshay Kumar, Says Taapsee Pannu

Actress Taapsee Pannu has revealed that it is intimidating to perform an action sequence alongside Akshay Kumar as he is a master in that genre. Produced by Neeraj Pandey, the film is a sequel to the 2015 film Baby. Naam Shabana features Taapsee in the lead and Akshay Kumar in an extended cameo.

Press Trust Of India cited the actress saying, “I was getting trained by people Akshay had assigned for me. They were task masters. He was not present during the training period so I don’t know how he is on ground. “But he sets the expectation meter very high and it is very intimidating to do an action film where he also is a part of the film as people expect that level of action.”

Talking about the challenges she had to face while filming action sequences, Taapsee lauded Akshay and said that he is the calmest person she had come across. After Baby, this is the second time that Pannu and Kumar are coming together for a film. The supporting cast of the film includes Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Helmed by Shivam Nair, the film is up for March 31 release.
