Jacqueline Fernandez To Replace Anil Kapoor In Race 3

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez made her Bollywood debut in the year 2009 with the film Aladin opposite Ritesh Deshmukh. Thereafter, she was seen in seen several acclaimed movies. However, all the movies have portrayed the Sri Lankan beauty as the pretty girl-next-door.

We all are aware that after working in Race 2, Jacqueline has been signed for Race 3. And now the latest update that we have is that the actress will be seen in a different role in the film that she has not portrayed earlier. She will essay the role of a tough cop alongside Salman Khan in the movie.

“Jacqueline has an interesting character in this thriller. She will be the one at the helm of things, who will be inspecting the whole situation, much like Abhishek Bachchan in the Dhoom series,” revealed an insider. However, those who loved Anil Kapoor in the film will be upset as the third part will not have him. Anil was seen in both the iterations of Race.

The makers wanted someone else to play the role of a tough cop. So instead of roping some other make actor for the role of a cop, they decided to have police woman. According to them Jackie fit the bill. The source further added, “Given that this is a speed-based thriller, Jackie will have a lot of action sequences and stunts, which she will do herself.”
