John Abraham Calls Dishoom A ‘Franchiseable Film’

Upcoming action-adventure ‘Dishoom’ stars John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez in leading roles. John feels that the film has the potential of becoming the “biggest franchise that India would see”. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, ‘Dishoom’ will be released on July 29.

Talking about the film, the Force actor stated, “After I heard the story of 'Dishoom' I felt this could be the youngest film franchise as we have two young actors Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez. This is a franchiseable film. I think this could be the biggest franchise that India would see”. He added, “Coming together for a film, where you have two popular actors Jacqueline and Varun and a talented young director Rohit Dhawan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, the results are fantastic”.

John was last seen in ‘Rocky Handsome’ which was also an action film. The actor is known for his prowess and efficiency in the genre and is working on the sequel to the 2011 film ‘Force’. The 43-year-old actor stated that he will be trying something different in ‘Force 2’.
