John Abraham supports social cause with leading music station

Madras Cafe actor John Abraham has extended his support to a leading radio station`s campaign, Fever Voice of Change, and became a part of its one of the latest initiatives, Mission Tezaab. As a part of this campaign he met acid attack victims who will be restored under this movement.

The actor stated at the event, "The political leaders should know that they are public figures and their statements make a huge difference.” The actor also added that politicians should be extra careful about their comments on women safety as they impact the society to a large extent being significant public figures. He added further, "It`s very important to respect a woman, but we men tend to forget that. So, it is very important that parents should teach their sons to be courteous towards them. The way a father treats his wife, his son also follows the same.” The Bollywood hunk has been using the power of media to expand his reach to the governing authorities in dealing with the issues which have made our society a difficult place to live in.
