Kalki Koechlin Expresses Her Desire To Do Romantic Comedy

Recently, Kalki Koechlin shared her wish of doing a romantic comedy. We have seen the actress essaying strong characters on screens; be it playing Aditi Mehra, a tomboy in ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ or Laila Kapoor, a woman with cerebral-palsy in ‘Margarita with a Straw’. But, the Ek Thi Daayan actress wants to play a lovey-dovey part.

“It's my dream to do a rom-com. When will I get the guy at the end of the film, instead of beating him up or killing him?”, Kalki told BT recently. Well, we wish Kalki gets the opportunity to live her dream soon as her well-wishers would also love to see their idol doing something different.

On a related note, Kalki will next be seen in Konkona Sen Sharma’s directorial debut ‘A Death in the Gunj’. The drama-thriller also stars Ranvir Shorey, Vikrant Massey, Tillotama Shome, Gulshan Devaiah, Jim Sarbh, Tanuja and late actor Om Puri. In addition, Kalki also has a movie titled ‘Ribbon’ in her kitty. She’ll be seen alongside The Viral Fever's Permanent Roommates fame Sumeet Vyas in the movie.
