Kalki Koechlin Is Utterly Fantastic: Naseeruddin Shah

Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki Koechlin will be sharing screen space in the upcoming film ‘Waiting’. Recently, the veteran actor spoke about his co-star and said that she was perfect for the role. “The thought of working with Kalki was delicious and I have to say she is utterly fantastic. She was absolutely the right choice for this part”, the Dedh Ishqiya actor stated.

The duo has previously worked together in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘That Girl in Yellow Boots’. ‘Waiting’ has been directed by Anu Menon and shows Naseeruddin play an old-school Philosophy professor and Kalki as a modern advertising professional. Shiv (Naseeruddin) and Tara (Kalki) meet in a hospital where they are nursing their spouses.

‘Waiting’ will be released on May 27 and has Arjun Mathur, Suhasini Maniratnam and Rajat Kapoor in supporting roles. Naseeruddin was last seen in ‘Teraa Surroor’ which was directed by Shawn Arranha. Kalki’s last film was ‘Margarita with a Straw’ which was helmed by Shonali Bose.
