Kamya Punjabi to release Pratyusha Banerjee's last short film on April 1
Updated : March 29, 2017 10:44 AM ISTTV actor Kamya Punjabi has announced that she will release the last film of late TV actor Pratyusha Banerjee, who committed suicide in April 2016.
Right after the news of Pratyusha’s suicide emerged, close-friend Kamya had told the press, “Some days ago she (Pratyusha) called me and said Rahul is cheating on her. Three-four days ago, when I got a call in Delhi, I told her I’ll come and sort out everything. She said she can’t live like this anymore and wanted to get out of this relationship. She said she needed help.”
Rahul Raj Singh is facing a case for suicide abetment.
Kamya tweeted a teaser video of the short film where Pratyusha is seen in an intense role. Kamya signs off the video saying, “Ashk, kuch beh gaye, aur kuch reh gaye.”

The short film will be released on April 1, on the first anniversary of Pratyusha’s death.
