Kangana delivers ‘rocking performance’ in Tanu Weds Manu Returns

Tanu Weds Manu Returns, the upcoming romantic comedy film, has already received a huge applaud from the film fraternity at a special screening held on Tuesday. Filmmakers like Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Vishal Bhardwaj, Farah Khan and Gauri Shinde have all given thumbs up to the project. Kangana Ranaut’s performance and Tanu Weds Manu Returns are a winner according to all.

Ace director Rajkumar Hirani said, "It's a fantastic film. It's a great story and very well-directed. You just watch it. It's a great film". Despite the debacle of his latest release, Anurag Kashyap maintains the spirit of modesty and praises the film. He said, "Tanu Weds Manu Returns is an outstanding film. The sequel is so much better than the prequel." Specially praising the National Film Awards winner’s twin character (Datto), he mentioned, "it is one of the finest characters I have ever seen". According to Farah Khan and Gauri Shinde, Kangana has given a ‘rocking performance’.

Not only the Queen actress, but also the director, story, and R. Madhavan and Deepak Dobriyal’s performances have garnered a huge admiration. The Anand L. Rai directorial is a sequel to Tanu weds Manu (2011) and also stars Jimmy Shergill. It’s set to make appearance on silver screen on May 22.
