Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor bagged the Best Actor Award: IIFA 2015

Like every year’s this year IIFA was also a star-studded ceremony that has just concluded in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha, Shraddha Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor and other stars attended the ceremony. The event saw some breath taking performances by our favourite stars.

The 16^th IIFA was hosted by Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.Vikas Bahl’s drama Queen and Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider bagged major trophies.Shahid, 34, dedicated his award to Vishal for giving him the opportunity and called the film a scary one. The Tanu weds Manu actress didn’t turn up to collect her trophy for Best Performance in a leading role – female so the film’s director received the award on her behalf. Heropanti actors Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon won the Best Debut trophies.

Ritesh Deshmukh won Best Actor Award in supporting Role for his film Ek Villain and Kay Kay Menon successfully received Best Actor Award in Negative Role for Haider, his co-star Tabu was able to fetch Best Actress in Supporting Role Award. Bollywood biggies like Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar were missing from the ceremony but their songs were played at regular intervals. And last but not the least Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was there to glaze the occasion.
