Kangana Ranaut confirmed for Sujoy Ghosh’s next

Rumours were doing rounds that actress Kangana Ranaut, who recently excelled with Queen, may replace Vidya Balan in Sujoy Ghosh’s next project which has been left behind by the Kahaani actress. Now it’s confirmed that Kangana will replace Vidya, indeed.

The Fashion actress said, "I would be doing the film with Sujoy. I am excited about it. It is a suspense thriller and beyond this I cannot reveal anything.” The film, which has been titled Durga Rani Singh, will star Kangana as a 35-year-old mother who has a 14-year-old paralytic girl child. Kangana also expressed her excitement over her success with Queen, "I am very happy with the response to `Queen`. We had not expected this kind of appreciation... We are overwhelmed. We are thankful to the audience for this love for the film.”
