Kapil Sharma's 'Firangi' To Release On 10th November 2017

TV star Kapil Sharma, who made his Bollywood debut with Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon (2015), has been shooting for his next film, Firangi. The comedian-actor announced the release date of his upcoming film, directed by Rajiv Dhingra, late on Thursday. Kapil Sharma has also produced the film that stars him along with Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill.

“Happy to announce 10th Nov 2017 for #Firangi ! Need your Blessings, Love & Support ! Thank u everyone, Love u all :)),” Kapil tweeted. His co-star Ishita, too, tweeted about the release date. “Finally the wait is over!The much awaited #Firangi is going 2 release on 10thNov17 @KapilSharmaK9 @Monica_Gill1 @dhingra_rajiv #Firangi,” she wrote.

Firangi is said to be a historical period drama set in 1920.

Ishita was earlier seen in Drishyam where she played Ajay Devgn’s daughter. Monica, on the other hand, has appeared in Punjabi films including Ambarsariya and Sardaarji 2.

Kapil came into limelight when he won The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 3. After that he went on to do shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 and Comedy Circus before starting his popular show Comedy Nights with Kapil, under his home production. He is currently seen in The Kapil Sharma Show.

Kapil’s debut film, Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon, had a good run at the box office despite getting mixed reviews when it released on Sept 25, 2015.
