Kapil Sharma’s Unorthodox Take On ‘Intolerance’

Kapil Sharma recently shared his thoughts on intolerance and said that social media is responsible for giving weight to the word ‘intolerance’. He feels that there is no intolerance in the country and that people should not take everything so seriously. According to IANS, Kapil stated, “...see, it's just a word. Had you heard about this word earlier?”

“I think it has been made famous by these social media trolls and the news that follows it”, Kapil added. He went on to say, “I am telling you, make fun of this word (intolerance). People should not take everything so seriously. There needs to be a scope for humour -- healthy humour”.

The Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon actor will soon be seen back in action, hosting his new sketch comedy ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. It will bring back Sunil Grover, Chandan Prabhakar, Ali Asgar, Sumona Chakravarti and Kiku Sharda. The first episode will be aired on Sony TV on April 23.
