Karan Johar Replaces Kapil Sharma in Comedy Nights with Kapil?

After Kapil Sharma’s slip disc injury, it is said that the makers of the show Comedy Nights with Kapil are looking for a new host. Further it is said that four Bollywood celebrities are under consideration to replace Kapil during his injury, who will host one episode each. As of now, Karan Johar is the only one finalized.

A source told Hindustan times, “The channel was contemplating if other characters should also be given a break while they work out a fresh concept. However, they decided to run, but rope in four big names as hosts. So far, only Karan has been finalized”.

Kapil shot the last episode of the show with Salman Khan before going on a break; and made an announcement on Twitter that he has been advised bed rest; hence will be going off air for some time. Meanwhile, the first trailer of comedian’s debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu is releasing on August 13. The film is scheduled to release on September 25.
