After Pledging Against It, Karan Johar Is Returning To Acting And That Too In A Double Role!

We had reported earlier that a film on IIFA is being made which will star Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead. The film is titled ‘Crazy Hum’. And now we have another piece of information to share with you regarding the film.

Filmmaker Karan Johar is returning to acting with the movie. And to everyone’s surprise, he will play a double role in the flick. This is quite surprising since Karan pledged never to act after his last movie ‘Bombay Velvet’, in which he acted, was a dud. Karan essayed the role of the primary antagonist in ‘Bombay Velvet’.

“Details of his character has been kept under wraps. This is the biggest surprise of the film. The writers who are working on the set are constantly innovating every day to enhance their script and it was then that they got this brilliant idea of having Karan’s duplicate,” revealed a source to DNA. The source further stated that he would be seen in a full-fledged role in the film. Johar will be playing himself in one of the roles, while the other will be his doppelganger.

The movie is directed by Tamil filmmaker Chakri Toleti. The team has already shot a few portions from IIFA 2017. ‘Crazy Hum’ will also cameos of several celebrities who attended this year’s IIFA.
