Karan Johar’s Show Has New Guests

Karan Johar’s much-celebrated chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’ is all set for a comeback on small screens with its fifth season on November 6 on Star World. The latest dope about the guest list of the talk show is that real-life power couple of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, are the newest names added to the list. In addition, we hear that Karan will be hosting long-time friends Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in the very first episode of the show.

This will be the first time when both, Akshay-Twinkle and Varun-Arjun, will be appearing on the television screens with each other. It is being said that Twinkle had declined to come on the show on earlier occasions. However, Mrs Funnybones has finally given a nod.

Earlier, it was also reported that Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt would be the first guests on ‘Koffee with Karan’. However, King Khan is busy shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s ‘The Ring’ in Lisbon. Rumour has it that Shah Rukh would appear in another episode with Alia.


Talking about Varun and Arjun, a source close the actors was quoted as saying, “They were approached for different episodes but they themselves suggested they appear together to give their fans a peek into the friendship they share outside of their social media banter. Karan loved the idea. They will shoot this weekend. The show's team is hoping that the dosts will reveal a lot of lesser known fun facts about each other”.

We eagerly look forward to Akshay-Twinkle’s wittiness and Varun-Arjun’s bromance in their respective episodes.
