Kareena Kapoor does not seem interested in having kids with Saif Ali Khan

It is an age-old tradition of having kids post-marriage since centuries. But Bollywood’s ‘Heroine’ Kareena Kapoor opts for an exception. She has decided not to bear children with her actor-husband Saif Ali Khan. She thinks this suits her modernity and children can’t be necessary after marriage for her.

It seems Bebo is not interested in motherhood and she will stay happy playing the role of step-mother to Saif’s children from his previous marriage, Sara and Ibrahim. While talking to a fashion and lifestyle magazine the actress revealed her plans, “Earlier it was when are they going to get married? Now everyone wants to know when is she having a baby? Who knows, I might even decide not to have kids. I am just 32. And Saif already has 2 kids. We are not a typical Indian couple who get married just so they can have a child. We are modern.”

Last December after going through a long-time courtship Saif and Kareena entered wedlock in a private ceremony. An unconventional Kareena, who doesn’t depend on the prevailing social system, has considered Sara and Ibrahim as her own kids. Hence biological kids are no more a necessity to her. Meanwhile as per the legal rules of inheritance, Kareena’s biological kids will never be able to inherit Saif’s property as Kareena didn’t convert to Islam before their marriage. Now everyone wonders what may be the actual reason behind such an eccentric decision by one of the most gorgeous actresses of Bollywood.
