Kareena Kapoor to sport de-glamorised Satyagraha look in the film’s promotions

The style icon of Bollywood Kareena Kapoor is set to come up with her new challenging role in her next release, Satyagraha. A de-glam Kareena will be seen in the role of an international political journalist in the film by Prakash Jha. The Bollywood diva will mirror her Satyagraha character in the promotional events too.

The ultra-glamourous actress of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor will be seen in a simple kurta, pair of jeans and a stole, without any make-up in the film. The promotions will begin a month before the film’s release on August 30, as reported by a source. Recently it has been a trend for Bollywood actors to remain in the character's look for the promotions as Vidya Balan did for Ghanchakkar displaying her loud Punjabi character. Satyagraha has an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpai, Amrita Rao and Vipin Sharma in the lead roles. This movie is all about the revolt of the middle class against a corrupt system.
