Kareena Kapoor To Star In Omung's Biopic Directorial?

Many earlier reports suggested that superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan had been approached by Omung Kumar for his next. As per the reports Omung had thought of producing a biopic keeping Kareena in the lead. Allegedly Mrs. Khan had liked the script and was in constant talks with Omung regarding the film.

"Omung has wanted to work with Kareena for quite some time and he has finally found the right script for her. It’s a biopic and the actress and filmmaker will soon sit for a round of narrations. Then Bebo will take a call on the film", a source told a daily. However, when Kareena was asked about the film, she left a vague answer. “I have been reading a lot of scripts. But there is nothing concrete yet that I can talk about", Bebo told Pinkvilla.

Further, as per a recent report a source notified a daily, "Kareena had issues with the script and she told Omung very politely that she won’t be doing the biopic. She has been reading a lot of scripts but hasn’t green lighted anything after Veere Di Wedding". On the matter Pinkvilla approached Omung, he said, "Which biopic, what script... I have no idea". It seems the previous reports were only futile.

Kareena is presently gearing up for her next, ‘Veere Di Wedding’, which also stars Sonam Kapoor. The film’s shooting is set to begin in September.
