Kareena, Vidya reject Tigmanshu Dhulia’s offer

If rumours are to be believed then creative genius Tigmanshu Dhulia’s attempt to sign powerful performers Kareena Kapoor or Vidya Balan in his next ambitious project, a biopic on Begum Samru has failed as both the newly-wed actresses have rejected his offer. According to sources, the bold and beautiful actresses felt the film has too much explicit content.

Speaking about the film, Dhulia said, "The film is set in the 1840s and will be based on a Hindi novel. I wrote the script a few years ago. I am looking to rope in an international studio. That will ensure I don't face any censor issues in terms of satellite rights. That being said, I did approach Kareena and Vidya but they weren't comfortable with the script".
