Karthika Nair shoots war sequence for TV show by Baahubali 2 writer

Actor Karthika Nair, who made her acting with Telugu film Josh (2009), shot a stunt in one-take, for the upcoming TV show, Aarambh - by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion KV Vijayendra Prasad.

The upcoming show Aarambh is a fantasy drama that shows the tussle between Dravidians and Aaryans. Like the big-budget movie Baahubali, this upcoming historic show is also being planned on a big scale where there will be enormous historical battlefield wars and sword fights.

Reportedly, it was during one of the combat scenes between Karthika and Rajniesh Duggal that the female actor performed with perfection. Karthika, who was supposed to be mounted on an elephant, practised for more than two days and left no stone unturned to fit into her character. Then, during the shoot, she exuded confidence and her fight scene was shot at ease in one go!

It was a whole new experience, for me, to fight on an elephant with an axe in my hand. I needed to be very cautious for the scene, all thanks to my team , which supported me with professional training.

Alongside Karthika, model-actor Rajniesh Duggal​l and veteran actor Tanuja Mukherjee will be seen in lead roles.
