Kat to play mommy in Sujoy’s next?

Well, it seems that Bollywood’s Barbie doll has grown up! Yes, we are talking about the sizzling hot firang babe of our tinsel town, Katrina Kaif. If reports are to be believed, our very own Katrina may soon be seen portraying the role of a single mother in Sujoy Ghosh's forthcoming venture.

Sujoy Ghosh who earlier made a woman-centric film titled Kahaani, won a lot of appreciation and even made the way for the National Award. The filmmaker is now coming back with an adaptation of Japanese novel,The Devotion of Suspect X. The novel is about a single, divorced mother who accidentally kills her own husband. Sujoy had earlier approached Vidya Balan to play the leading lady, but the actress declined the role due to health issues. Apparently, he came up to Katrina, who heard the script and even liked the project. According to the sources, the actress is keen to do the interesting role and may give a nod to it.

Currently, the actress is in London shooting for Kabir Khan’s Phantom and will decide about the role soon. Well, if she comes on board, it would be interesting for her fans to see the leggy lass in a completely new avatar!!
