Ketan Mehta Out, Krish In For The Rani Lakshmibai Biopic?

Kangana Ranaut has proved her acting prowess in the Bollywood industry with superhit films like, Queen and Tanu Weds Manu. The actress has never compromised with the quality of work in whatever she does. Here’s another example of this.

If reports are anything to go by, the actor has replaced Ketan Mehta as the director of the much awaited Rani Lakshmibai biopic. Sources claimed that a new director has been taken on board for the project. Director Krish, of the Gautamiputra Satakarni fame, will now helm the project.

The film is in the pre-production stage since the past two years but now it seems things will fall into place. For the uninitiated, the project titled as Manikarnika, has been written by SS Rajamouli’s father, KV Vijayendra Prasad. The film will show a girl solving her problems when she is trapped in quite a few difficult situations.
