Kill Dill promotions kill Bajirao-Mastani shoot

The promotions of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Kill Dil seem to have hampered Mr. Bhansali’s schedule for sure. His lead actor Ranveer Singh is busy promoting Shaad Ali’s Kill Dil and the production has taken a hold for two weeks. The shooting for Bajirao-Mastani also starring Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra had commenced a month ago hence the sudden break by Ranveer has made a little dent.

Promotions today hold a supreme value that no lead actor can obviously do without. Yashraj’s Kill Dil that releases next week therefore has a lot going on with itself. According to a source, who spoke about the shooting being on hold said, "There is nothing to be alarmed about. Ranveer's next release is Yash Raj films' Kill Dil and he had no time to promote the film. But now with less than two weeks to go for release, Ranveer is compelled to give attention to his film's promotion even if it means the halt of the Bajirao Mastani shooting." Interestingly, Kill Dil’s director Shaad Ali also had to go through the same trouble when Ranveer had given all his dates to Bhansali for Ram-Leela forcing him to delay the shoot. Bhansali on that count should feel lucky that his actor’s only gone for two weeks that too hiding his bald look completely.

Kill that also stars Parineeti Chopra, Ali Zafar and Govinda in prominent roles will release on 14th. While the songs are marching up the charts, Shaad Ali who last directed the forgettable Jhoom Barabar Jhoom would hope the film does well at the box office.
