Kishore Kumar Biopic With Ranbir Kapoor May Be A Reality Soon!

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Anurag Basu are all prepared for their upcoming flick ‘Jagga Jasoos’ to hit the silver screens on July 17, 2018. The actor-director duo will also work together in the Kishore Kumar biopic. Earlier, there were rumours that the plans of making the biopic has been shelved.

It was also said that Ranbir has no wish to work with the director due to several shooting delays caused in their current project ‘Jagga Jasoos’. It was also rumoured that the director wishes to direct the biopic without the actor. Now, in their recent interview while promoting ‘Jagga Jasoos’, the actor-director duo said that the biopic project is on hold and the actor mentioned that ‘everyone has to be on the same page’.

Rumour is that the makers of the biopic have still not taken the necessary permissions in order to proceed. In order to make a biopic in India, one needs to take the permission from the individual, if that individual is not alive then permission from the individual’s family members in necessary. Kishore Kumar was a renowned personality for his out of the box singing skills in 1970s and 1980s. The late singer also had several controversies regarding his personal life.
