Konkana Sen Sharma's Short Film Is An Eye Opener

Larger short films production Nayantara's Necklace, starring Konkana Sen Sharma and Tillotama Shome is an eye opener. The 20 minute short film has been directed by Jaydeep Sarkar.
This short dramatic thriller is a narrative from two different perspectives. It is a story of friendship between two very different characters - Nayantara (Konkana) and Alka (Tillotama).
The film starts on a very light note, as the two characters are bonding over cup of tea but at the accidental friendship progresses, it delves into the harsh reality of life. This is a very subtle anecdote about the pretentious urban lives we are living.
The film ends on a dark note that will compel its viewers to think. Nayantara's Necklace is a constant reminder of the empty spaces that we are struggling to fill with something or someone.
