Manoj Bajpayee Draws Comparison Between SRK And Himself

At a promotional interview for his upcoming flick ‘Naam Shabana’, Manoj Bajpayee drew an interesting comparison between Shah Rukh Khan and himself. The actor stated that Shah Rukh has a charisma that he does not possess. But, on the other hand, the audiences don’t watch his (Manoj) movies for his charisma, they watch his movies for his ability to deliver and perform.

Manoj shared that if he stands at an airport, people will not go crazy like they would if Shah Rukh was standing there. “Stars like Shah Rukh Khan have a power over the entire nation. One glimpse of him and people go berserk. It always amazed me how it can happen. It can’t be created. Either you are born with it or not”, the actor stated.

“What I have is the ability to deliver and perform. That is what people expect from me and I try to stick to it”, he added. Manoj feels that the audience is more drawn towards realistic films. The Gangs of Wasseypur actor also shared that now there is no shortage of good filmmakers in the industry and because of this, movies with females as central characters are being made.

‘Naam Shabana’ stars Tapsee Pannu in the lead role. It is being touted as an action spy thriller. Directed by Shivam Nair, the movie will hit the screens on March 31.
