Manoj Bajpayee to try his hands for film production soon

National Award winning actor Manoj Bajpayee, who shot to fame with the commercially successful filmSatya, has reportedly decided to become the new actor-turned-producer as he thinks producing movies "will give me a lot of power". The actor has always been critically acclaimed in the Hindi film industry for his roles inKaun?,Shooland Chandraprakash Dwivedi directed period dramaPinjar, which helped him win another National Award afterSatya.

Though his career went downwards for some time, he breathed new life with films likeRaajneeti, Chakravyuhand"Gangs of Wasseypur".Manoj told IANS, "Tomorrow, if I have money, I will definitely turn producer. Production will definitely give me a lot of freedom to do what I want to do. Whether it's a mainstream or anything else..., production will give me a lot of power." He further added, "I will definitely get into production soon. Let's see when that happens."

Presently he is busy with the promotional campaign of his upcoming filmSpecial Chabbiswhich has been directed byNeeraj Pandey and features Anupam Kher and Akshay Kumar in other leading roles.
